ZITRO reduces CO2 emissions by 30 tons at Madrid office

(Madrid).- Zitro, a key player in the gaming industry, announces a significant step towards a greener future. The company has successfully transitioned its Madrid-Pozuelo office to a 100% renewable electricity supply, significantly reducing its carbon footprint and achieving zero emissions.
This commitment to clean energy demonstrates Zitro’s dedication to environmental responsibility. By switching to renewable sources, Zitro is actively reducing its Scope 2 emissions, contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly planet. The transition is estimated to result in annual savings of more than 30 tons of CO2.
While the current emissions reduction is directly linked to the number of people and the office’s electricity use, Zitro’s commitment to renewable energy sources ensures continued zero emissions even as the company grows.
“We are proud to implement this positive change at our Madrid-Pozuelo office,” says Johnny Viveiros Ortiz. “Sustainability is a core value at Zitro, and we are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint. This initiative represents a significant step forward in achieving our sustainability goals, with the expectation of reaching net zero in Spain by early 2025.”
